Job Overview

Position: Manufacturing Production Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Specialist to join our team. This role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on the production of high-quality soap products.

Key Responsibilities:

Soap Production Operations:

  • Efficiently package products along the production line.
  • Safely extract soap from molds utilizing both automated and manual hoisting systems.
  • Operate cutting machinery to slice soap into specified shapes and sizes.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all soap bricks meet required specifications before processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of workstations, equipment, and tools.

Additional Duties:

  • Manage inventory by receiving and organizing raw materials, as well as preparing finished goods for shipment.
  • Utilize material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks (OSHA Certification preferred).
  • Operate pumps and valves for handling liquid ingredients.
  • Package, label, and prepare products for distribution.
Packaging Responsibilities:
  • Adapt to varying tasks based on production demands.
  • Prepare products for manufacturing and distribution processes.
  • Inspect products for quality assurance and verify accurate counts.
  • Conduct in-process checks and make necessary inventory adjustments.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and reliability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Previous experience in assembly line or manufacturing settings is advantageous.
Requirements:
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to carry out repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Steel toe and nonslip footwear are mandatory.
