Role Summary

Enhance all facets of the manufacturing process by pinpointing opportunities and implementing
streamlined, efficient, cost-effective, and dependable methods throughout the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and revise work instructions and manufacturing routers across all departments.
  • Utilize various process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Poka Yoke, and Six Sigma, to achieve optimal value streams and minimize manufacturing costs.
  • Document all manufacturing procedures and ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Provide training to team members as necessary.
  • Offer support to Engineering, planning, and cost estimation regarding routers and tooling.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and jigs to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Provide consistent support to manufacturing operations.
  • Effectively manage projects: uphold commitments, meet deadlines, and maintain clear communication.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives whenever feasible.
  • Stay informed about cutting-edge manufacturing equipment, techniques, and concepts.
  • Prepare justifications for necessary capital asset investments.
  • Design tools, fixtures, and jigs to facilitate production.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Preferred degree in material science.

  • Three to five years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
