Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and compliance of our dietary supplement manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage Batch Production Records (BPRs) for the Manufacturing Department, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain R&D Records (RDRs) for the Research & Development Department, documenting procedures and experiments meticulously.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to update existing procedures, such as blending protocols, reflecting the latest advancements and best practices.
  • Maintain a comprehensive Product Sample Log, updating it daily to track samples received and their status.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments regarding raw material sample arrivals, coordinating with relevant teams for timely processing.
  • Organize and update raw material test results, including assay data, microbial analysis, and other critical information.
  • Request and file essential documents from vendors, such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and flowcharts, ensuring their proper storage and accessibility.
  • Implement efficient systems for scanning, storing, and organizing both electronic and physical documents, maintaining a well-structured filing system.
  • Manage inventory levels for the Quality Department, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of quality control processes and procedures, promoting continuous improvement within the department.
  • Conduct in-process control checks during manufacturing and packaging operations, verifying adherence to established standards and specifications.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
