About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Team Member to join our team at Tarter Farm and Ranch. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing product recommendations.
    • Assist with resolving customer issues, managing expectations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Order Management:
    • Process orders accurately and efficiently in the system, ensuring all details are correct and timelines are met.
    • Coordinate with the production, logistics, and shipping departments to ensure on-time delivery of products.
    • Follow up with customers on order status, shipping details, and delivery schedules.
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist the outside sales team by providing product information, pricing, and other relevant details as needed.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to support promotional activities and campaigns.
    • Actively participate in sales meetings, providing insights and updates on customer trends and needs.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order details in the CRM system.
    • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and any other documentation as required by the Sales Manager.
Requirements
  • Strong Customer Service and Sales Skills: A strong customer service and sales-oriented mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and relationship-building.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to Multitask: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of farm and ranch equipment is a plus, but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 Years of Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field.
