Senior Solutions Consultant for Expert Services

Job Overview:


We are seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to become a vital part of our Central Centre of Excellence. This team is dedicated to delivering Sage X3 services and implementing best practices to facilitate intricate sales and project executions.

In this position, you will oversee the activities of fellow Consultants and work in close collaboration with Project Managers, IT experts, Product Managers, Developers, Sales Engineers, and customer project teams to deliver optimal solutions within established parameters and financial plans.

This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on a global scale, functioning at the solution architect level to outline strategies and ensure that all regional teams adhere to the highest design and quality standards during implementations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Consultant will hold global responsibilities, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining budgetary constraints and profitability.
  • Spearhead the design, setup, configuration, customization, testing, delivery, documentation, and transition to support of the solution, either directly or through delegation to other Consultants or Business Partners, alongside conducting technical and functional reviews.
  • Lead and engage in design sessions and workshops, participate in all relevant project meetings, and facilitate knowledge transfer with various project stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Mentor and guide other Consultants.
  • Contribute to training initiatives for internal teams, partners, and customers.
  • Empower services sales to create feasibility assessments and estimates that align with customer needs; proactively advocate for value-added services with clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of comprehensive experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Global experience in Sage X3 implementations.
  • A background in finance with a profound understanding of manufacturing, distribution, and related fields.
  • Expertise in costing, including inventory and work-in-progress.
  • Advanced knowledge of X3 Finance and compliance with US legislation for configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Capability to conduct and deliver structured expert-level training sessions.
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering to both internal and external audiences, including at conferences.
