We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consulting Engineer to join our team at Geappliancesco. As a Senior Consulting Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the serviceability of our VRF HVAC products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders via phone and email communication.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the creation of training course materials, including installation, startup, troubleshooting, service, and controls for Haier VRF products.
  • Onsite Support: Offer on-site job site assistance for installation, troubleshooting, and startup of VRF HVAC systems.
  • Product Enhancement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance product offerings, simplifying technical service processes and meeting contractor needs.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Work closely with product service teams and factory R&D engineers to understand existing and new product service-related features and sequence-of-operations, creating internal and external reference documentation.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in the residential and commercial HVAC industry, with a strong background in product applications, ductless split, and VRF systems.
  • Education: Technical degree or technical training, with a high school degree or equivalent GED.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and engage with technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for training and customer support.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 20-50% depending on the season, with occasional international travel.
