Position: Senior Consulting Engineer
Overview: As a vital member of the Ansys Customer Excellence team, you will collaborate closely with clients to address real-world engineering challenges, integrate Ansys software into their processes, and contribute to business growth. Your expertise in Ansys products will be instrumental in delivering technical services and enhancing product features based on client feedback. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams will be essential in crafting innovative simulation solutions and broadening industry insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee client-facing consulting initiatives
- Implement consulting projects to ensure value delivery and client satisfaction
- Spot opportunities for consulting services to improve product development
- Partner with sales teams to secure consulting engagements
- Create marketing materials derived from consulting projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or a related discipline
- Expertise in Ansys software or comparable CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM tools
- Experience in high-tech applications and the semiconductor sector
- Strong analytical and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional years of experience in an engineering software environment
- Background in application engineering or customer support roles
- Capability to engage with senior business leaders
- Readiness to travel up to 50% of the time
