About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective sales strategy for our Medium Voltage System Drives globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with our Product Group strategy and drives business growth in the United States and other identified market segments.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in customer and potential customer organizations.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions to secure business growth.
  • Collaborate with local sales and marketing teams, Global Division Sales, and Product Group functions to achieve defined targets.
Requirements
  • BS/MS Degree in a relevant field.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record in sales management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of drives and motor markets and applications.
  • Strong leadership, sales management, and change management capabilities.
  • Ability to work and excel in a demanding, customer-centric, outcomes-based environment.
