Job Summary

Pieper Electric is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on conducting business development activities for the EV Charging market in Wisconsin, supporting company marketing efforts and developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies to increase overall company sales, profits, and market share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop customer partnerships through the utilization of new technologies and innovative services
  • Obtain sales from new customers and create relationships to understand their markets, work, and niches
  • Develop Electric Vehicle Infrastructure quoting opportunities from new/potential customers
  • Assist Department Managers with creating proposals and presentations as needed for identified opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to assist in the development of promotional material such as brochures, proposals, and proposal templates
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in the EV industry (or related industry)
  • Specific knowledge in Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems
  • Positive safety attitude and personal integrity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Ability to work independently and execute with enthusiasm
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Detail-orientated with excellent time management skills
