The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, managing staff, and strategically implementing a program aimed at assisting individuals in securing and maintaining employment while they pursue permanent housing solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, building partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, and driving continuous improvement to meet the needs of those we serve.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the implementation and administration of the supported employment transitional housing initiative.
  • Supervise a team providing case management and client services on-site.
  • Support residents in maintaining employment through ongoing guidance and resources.
  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during operational hours.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and funding requirements.
  • Monitor program budget for efficient resource allocation.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, including case managers and support personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Document and manage client grievances and incident reports.
  • Develop individualized employment and education plans tailored to residents' goals.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and provide supervision to team members.

Partnership Development:
  • Build relationships with local employers, housing providers, and community organizations.
  • Facilitate partnerships that enhance program services and support participant success.
  • Represent the program at community meetings and networking events.
  • Collaborate with other program managers to identify supportive employment opportunities.
  • Participate in organization-wide committees and departmental meetings as assigned.

Data Management and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze program outcomes to inform improvements.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Program Director.
  • Monitor client progress toward their goals.
  • Identify opportunities for program innovation and growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, focusing on supported employment or housing services.
  • If a social worker, LGSW is required; if a counselor, LGPC is required.
  • Experience with outcome-based program management and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of social services resources and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to build respectful rapport with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations and understanding related issues.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Commitment to providing inclusive programs without regard to race, religion, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other protected classes.
  • Strong cultural competence and communication skills with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in developing interpersonal relations, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Capacity to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn database systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage volunteers and consultants effectively.

Salary: $63,000 - $78,000, commensurate with experience.
