Key Responsibilities:

- Execute tasks and projects related to the operation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of multi-tier IT application solutions, including software installation and configuration, server operating systems, networking, and storage management.

- Administer, maintain, and support complex and critical application infrastructures. Provide guidance and support to application product owners and software developers regarding system setup, configuration modifications, and upgrades.

- Analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot issues, making appropriate recommendations for improvement. Ensure that all operational aspects of an environment are delivered as part of the implementation and product lifecycle process while maintaining or enhancing expected service levels.

- Contribute to and ensure adherence to operational standards, procedures, and best practices. The Senior Systems Administrator may also take on project management and product or service ownership responsibilities.

- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and respond to service management ticket queues for support and service requests.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of six (6) years of system administration or relevant experience is required. Experience with cloud integration is preferred.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux/Microsoft) and databases.
  • Extensive experience in software/application support and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in coding (scripting and/or software development skills).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical troubleshooting expertise.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a four-year degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong cross-organizational communication abilities.
  • Presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with ITSM (Service Request, Incident, Change) Management.
  • Basic project management experience.
Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is between $111,803 and $129,000 annually. The offered salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with internal equity and market alignment.
