Director of Business Development

Tarlton Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Business Development. This key role will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other industry professionals
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Provide market research and analysis to inform business decisions
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets
- Identify and capitalize on industry trends and opportunities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the construction industry and the St. Louis region
- College degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in construction or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing or sales
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
