About the Role

Tarlton Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Business Development. This key role will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other industry professionals
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
  • Provide market research and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets
  • Identify and capitalize on industry trends and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the construction industry and the St. Louis region
Requirements
  • College degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing or sales
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
