About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Business Office Director to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the revenue management and accounts receivable functions for designated operations, ensuring compliance with business regulations and providing training and support to our teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of revenue recognition and collection practices, including working with the Revenue Cycle Coordinator to complete revenue analysis and required revenue adjustments and journal entries.
  • Assistance with the month-end close process, weekly revenue recognition process, and submission of required reporting.
  • Training and assistance on business functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, purchase card, and client funds management.
  • Leadership and development of business office managers, including training and coaching.
  • Collection efforts and resolution of policy or procedural deficiencies.
  • Development and implementation of business function deficiency action plans.
  • Verification of petty cash, resident funds, and purchase card management.
  • Partnership with finance and accounting support team members on special projects.
  • Support for internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Attendance at monthly AR meetings, SVP calls, quarterly round tables, and other meetings as requested.
  • Interim support plan for business office managers when positions are vacant or as needed.
  • Submission of workflow updates to direct supervisor as required.
  • Support of the business office manager and executive director in the interview process for new hires.
  • Conservation of resources through prudent judgment related to expenses incurred by the company.
  • Implementation of business office best practices across assigned operations.
  • Compliance with all laws, regulations, and standards of ethical conduct.
  • Maintenance of professional and technical competencies and proficiencies for the job responsibilities.
  • Compliance with all company policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
  • Ensuring the use and distribution of appropriate revenue reports to maintain Medicaid eligibility and service authorizations.
  • Delivery of orientation for new business office managers in accordance with company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or equivalent education from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five years of experience working in a healthcare business environment.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time in your designated geographical region.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze reports and identify gaps/inefficiencies/problems which could impact the business.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example and uphold and promote the culture, mission, and values of the company.
  • Ability to lead and perform all job duties with a friendly, positive, team-oriented approach.
