Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Field Service Technician involves traveling to client locations to execute service tasks on a variety of heat exchangers, as well as maintaining and repairing the tools and equipment utilized in the field service sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct field service operations as required, spending approximately 85% of the time on-site.
  • Utilize the remaining 15% of your time for training and assisting at various company facilities.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues in the field.
  • Carry out rework activities at different company locations.
  • Fabricate necessary tools in the workshop for field service applications when required.
  • Adhere to company protocols and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the company’s Standard of Excellence, which encompasses quality, is integrated into every product manufactured.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, and Operational Framework.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

  • Possess a solid understanding of the products manufactured by the company.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of utilizing software for field reporting.
  • Exhibit proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have basic mathematical and reading skills, along with the ability to use measuring instruments as necessary for the role.
  • Must hold OSHA 10 certification.
  • Possess troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical systems.
  • Wiring and electrical experience is preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and the capability to operate company vehicles.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and travel with minimal notice.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED LEVELS)

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Hands-on experience in the field is essential.
  • Experience level should reflect above-average knowledge of products and processes.
