IT Desktop Technician
We are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Technician to fulfill a contract role with a prominent employer. This position involves working on-site during standard business hours, providing essential support to internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure exceptional service delivery and system availability for staff.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical problems, offering effective solutions.
- Monitor the service ticketing system, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries as per the established Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Work in conjunction with fellow IT Service Desk personnel to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide administrative support for third-party applications when required.
- Coordinate with external support teams and vendors for PC equipment as necessary.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Operating System are preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, O365, and Exchange is essential.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues promptly using industry-standard practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and customer requests in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
