About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at INTEGRIS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Collect payments for copays and deductibles, and make financial arrangements for patients
  • Perform check-in and check-out duties accurately and efficiently
  • Make appointments for visits and inform clinical employees or providers of emergencies
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and record information in the medical record
  • Accurately enter patient demographics into the practice management system
  • Take clear and concise messages from pharmacies, physicians, and hospital personnel, and direct them to the appropriate clinical employee or provider
  • Manage a high volume of telephone calls and patient interactions, and maintain excellent telephone etiquette
  • Organize workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner
Requirements
  • 1 year of clerical experience preferred
  • Experience in cashier procedures, basic accounting, clinic check-in/out procedures, basic health insurance, HMO, PPO, and medical terminology
  • 6 months of customer service experience, 6 months of telephone customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
