We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Patient Services Representative to join our team at OU Health. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, provide information about clinic operations, and obtain patient demographics.
- Check In/Check Out: Greet patients, accept payments, and ensure the accuracy of encounter forms.
- Filing and Organization: Maintain patient charts, prepare inactive charts for storage, and secure charts that have been sent to storage.
- Referrals and Authorizations: Verify insurance eligibility, secure referrals, and collect proof of income.
- Miscellaneous: Dispense supplies, type notes and letters, and log mail receipts.
- 1.5 years of experience in customer service, including at least 6 months in a clinical environment.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
