Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Patient Services Representative to join our team at OU Health. As a key member of our patient services team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient schedules, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, either by phone or in person, and provide information about clinic operations.
  • Check In/Check Out: Greet patients, accept payments, and prepare encounter forms and billing packets.
  • Filing and Organization: Pull patient charts, file documents, and maintain a secure and organized filing system.
  • Referrals and Authorizations: Verify insurance eligibility, secure referrals, and collect proof of income.
  • Miscellaneous: Dispense supplies, type notes and letters, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1.5 years of experience in customer service, including at least 6 months in a clinical environment.
  • Licensure/Certifications/Registrations: None required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
