About the Role

At Integris LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative Senior to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a mentor to new Patient Services Representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Ensure the integrity of clinic data and patient information, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict data protection protocols.
  • Answer telephones, take concise messages, and scan and index information into the medical record with precision and accuracy.
  • Handle requests for medical records and basic scheduling, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of population-specific competencies, staying up-to-date with the latest healthcare trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of providing exceptional interpersonal and telephone customer service.
  • Experience in cashier procedures and/or basic accounting, clinic check-in/out procedures, basic health insurance, HMO, PPO, and basic medical terminology.
  • General knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle or personal vehicle (non-INTEGRIS-owned) and have a current driver's license from the state of residence, as well as a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
  • For clinic staff assigned duties of entering orders in the electronic medical records, certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
