Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing revenue within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue within your territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including independent store owners and repair facilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective support to customers.
  • Collaborate with distribution center management to ensure seamless support for customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of software sales experience.
  • Outside selling experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; BS/BA Degree in Management, Marketing, or Business preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry and general computer software, networking, and hardware.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage territory and time effectively.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

  • Travel required 50%+ time involving driving to customer locations.
