Job Title: Territory Sales Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including automotive repair facilities, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Install and train customers on the use of our software and hardware, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to utilize our systems.
- Communicate with customers, distribution center management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support and connectivity.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of software sales experience, with a strong background in the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Outside selling experience is preferred, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; BS/BA Degree in Management, Marketing, or Business is preferred.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Physical Demands / Working Environment:
- Travel required 50%+ time, involving driving to customer locations.
