Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-value projects in the construction industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, resources, logistics, and client communication for mid to high complexity projects utilizing Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and conventional steel framing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales and technical sales support staff to assess targeted projects and prepare presentations and proposals.
  • Verify pre-contract project activities to establish project action plans.
  • Develop project management action plans to ensure compliance with schedules and budgets.
  • Organize and coordinate project teams and resources to meet project objectives.
  • Evaluate and understand projects by reviewing project documents, drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and contracts.
  • Oversee project finances, including budgeting, cash flow, schedule of values, payment milestones, invoicing, change orders, back charges, reporting, and final reconciliation.
  • Manage meetings and contacts with project team members, both internally and externally, to maintain clarity and understanding of requirements, expectations, and objectives.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding work product, drawings, submittals, schedules, processes, and expectations.
  • Establish fabrication production slots in accordance with project schedules and action plans by coordinating with external vendors, suppliers, and factory partners.
  • Manage and administer purchase orders and work orders with external resources, vendors, suppliers, factory partners, and logistics companies.
  • Manage project delivery requirements and address issues of material shortages, deficiencies, and installation support.
  • Follow and enforce processes, procedures, and systems for exceptional project success.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of project management experience in the construction products industry.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management, or relevant technical field, or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience and understanding of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and conventional steel framing systems is a plus.
  • Skilled at reading and understanding project drawings and specifications.
  • Firm grasp of project-related finances, including cash flow, margins, and job costing.
  • Experience in software such as MS Office Suite, CRM, project management/scheduling software, graphics and modeling, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam.
  • Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities and experience.
  • Able to facilitate groups, manage external resources, and negotiate with supply chain vendors.
  • Positive outlook with a forward-thinking global perspective.
  • Team-oriented and highly adaptive to various markets and project types.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly relay technical concepts.
