**Job Overview**

At HNTB, we're looking for an experienced Highway Project Director to join our team. As a key member of our Central States Office, you'll be responsible for managing Design Build and Design Bid-Build projects for DOT clients. Your main goal will be to successfully deliver quality work, on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction on every project.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and oversee the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and manage the delivery of the project.
  • Proactively manage the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications.
  • Lead or actively participate in client contract scoping and negotiations.

**What We're Looking For**

  • 2 years of successful management of engineering projects.

**What You'll Bring**

  • Winning, contracting, and successfully delivering 4for4 on projects.
  • Leading a team of internal staff and subconsultants.
  • Using system tools to manage, monitor, and deliver projects or task orders.
  • Leveraging the office management team to assist in implementing HNTB sophisticated processes.
  • Ongoing client coordination to ensure satisfaction.
  • Providing technical guidance to team and task leads.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year
