About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Vice President of Business Development to lead our sales efforts in the region. As a key member of our executive management team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships with healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales performance goals for the region
  • Direct the business development staffing strategy and ensure the sales team has necessary training and resources
  • Create and direct the region's enterprise growth strategy, partnering with healthcare providers to ensure a continuum of care
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful execution of the region's operational growth strategy
  • Function as a member of the executive management team, ensuring company compliance, performance, and HR guidelines are maintained in the region
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, holding employees accountable for attainment of defined goals and objectives
  • Develop employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on-the-job training and development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or management preferred
  • Five years of sales experience, with two years of home health or hospice sales experience
  • One year of supervisory experience within the healthcare industry preferred
  • Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance
