The Opportunity

As a Sales Professional, you will play a key role in expanding our relationships with customers in the industrial and food sectors. You will be responsible for driving account penetration, managing key customer relationships, and negotiating customer agreements that meet our annual operating plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans focused on growth strategy and manage the opportunity pipeline
  • Monitor variances and work closely with product management, customer service, and internal operations to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with management by providing regular CRM updates and participating in campaigns and proactive lead management
  • Attend and contribute at sales meetings and conference calls
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure customer performance goals are met, forecasting, accounts receivable, transportation, customer service, and compliance documentation requested by customers
  • Routine on-site customer visits and audits to assure our products are performing as designed

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experienced account management/relationship management with a track record of success
  • Previous experience in selling or managing pulp and paper related products
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate a highly matrixed environment
  • Visible leadership skills with demonstrated organizational savvy
  • Strong strategy comprehension and big picture execution
  • Portfolio management experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Dedication to safety and commitment to making safety a number one priority
  • History of success in both entrepreneurial and large, complex company environments
  • Willingness to travel 50 to 70% (combination road and air)

Education Level

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

Requirements

5+ years of paper and packaging experience, preferably sales or customer-facing role
