Position Summary:
The Automotive Store Manager is tasked with leading daily operations within the store and guiding the team towards achieving excellence in service delivery. This role is pivotal in supporting Car-X's mission to be recognized as a trusted provider of automotive maintenance and repair services.

Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $55,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and certifications. Additional performance-based incentives may apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring and developing team members to ensure a consistent 5-star customer experience.
  • Drive sales performance by implementing effective sales strategies and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of automotive products and services.
  • Promote tire and service offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support team members in maintaining a productive sales environment through training on operational procedures and customer service best practices.
  • Oversee staffing needs by managing recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of team members.
  • Control operational expenses by effectively managing payroll, utilities, and other controllable costs.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support store operations.
Management Responsibilities:

The Automotive Store Manager provides leadership to all store personnel, including service technicians and support staff, under the guidance of the District Manager.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-4 years of proven leadership experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance while controlling costs.
  • Strong capability to motivate and influence a team to meet objectives.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Customer-focused mindset with extensive experience in service-oriented environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Business acumen with a strong drive to exceed sales goals.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculating discounts, commissions, and other financial figures.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in mentoring and developing team members.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This position operates in an automotive service environment, which may involve exposure to noise, weather conditions, and various automotive chemicals.

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical demands include the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, and performing tasks that require bending and reaching.
