Reporting To: Social Services Director
Supervisory Responsibilities: PMRCT Caseworkers
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mobile Crisis/988 Program Manager will operate under the guidance of the Social Services Director, taking charge of the development, coordination, and management of various programs as designated. This role involves collaboration with other departments and external organizations to enhance program effectiveness and community support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise program caseworkers to ensure timely and quality completion of program activities before and after interventions.
- Provide comprehensive support for all operational aspects of the program to guarantee success in designs and activities.
- Exhibit strong leadership to oversee and manage direct services of caseworkers, including leading response teams and reviewing documentation.
- Implement policies and guidelines, offer clinical consultations, crisis intervention, public speaking, and staff training.
- Manage the Pala Mobile Response Crisis Team (PMRCT) and associated grants.
- Oversee the 988 grant.
- Ensure timely submission of grant applications, reports, budgets, and record-keeping.
- Maintain budgetary responsibilities, including the development and submission of financial reports, ensuring programs operate within budgetary constraints.
- Ensure accurate data collection and reporting in accordance with program guidelines.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with community agencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including special projects and grant management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution, or a combination of six years of education and relevant work experience.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience overseeing a team of three or more full-time employees.
- Experience in a social service environment.
- Experience working with individuals facing addiction or mental health challenges.
- Preferred experience with Native American populations.
- Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug testing is required.
- Agreement to maintain a Drug-Free workplace as a condition of employment.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Possession of a valid class "C" driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work in the field and travel as necessary.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; if not, certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Indian preference will apply, with priority given to qualified applicants who are Pala Tribal Members.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
All employees are expected to adhere to the Tribal Employee Handbook of the Pala Band of Mission Indians and comply with any additional applicable guidelines.
