Job Overview

Position Summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologists, also known as Special Procedures Technologists, to enhance our operations. This role involves delivering comprehensive Interventional Radiology Imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver IR Imaging services that meet or exceed the standards of care found in leading civilian medical facilities.
  • Comply with ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards to enhance the quality of services provided to patients.
  • Encourage the safe and effective application of diagnostic radiology through specialized training and techniques.
  • Conduct organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging, including:
    • Abdominal Imaging
    • Pelvic Imaging
    • Neuroradiology Imaging
    • Cardiovascular and Extremity Imaging
    • Vascular Imaging
  • Perform necessary administrative duties related to the role.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a recognized Technologist training program accredited by CHEA and JCERT.
  • ARRT (R) certification is mandatory; ARRT (VI) certification is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in IR Imaging within a Level 1 hospital environment.
  • Recent clinical work experience within the last year is essential.
  • Familiarity with GE Innova 3100 Biplane, GE Innova 4100 CT/Angiography Single Plane, and Toshiba Biplane and CT/Angiography Single Plane is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a VA setting is a plus.

Compensation: $107.90 per hour

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during work hours.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Capacity to carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
  • Ability to push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
