Position Summary:

The Account Director plays a pivotal role in generating revenue by establishing and nurturing relationships with organizations that can benefit from our advanced workforce development solutions. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this position is integral to our sales team, responsible for managing a portfolio of enterprise accounts from initial contact through to successful delivery and renewal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve and surpass sales objectives by promoting ESCO Group A.E.I.'s comprehensive suite of training and change management services.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand the client pipeline, actively pursuing new opportunities through outreach and networking.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to proposal, implementation, and renewal, utilizing consultative selling techniques to foster long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Assess and understand client needs to effectively propose tailored packages of training and technology services.
  • Maintain a clear sales pipeline and engage in revenue forecasting and planning meetings.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, addressing objections and ensuring successful closure of deals.
  • Collaborate with instructional design and data science teams to create customized programs for clients.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets by offering a full range of training and AI programs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years in enterprise sales roles with a significant quota.
  • Experience in selling professional or training services.
  • Proven track record in consultative selling within a technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to influence and engage C-level executives in large organizations.
  • Strong skills in presentation and proposal development.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining high activity levels, developing pipelines, and achieving sales quotas.
  • Proficient in independently managing and cultivating new client relationships.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a positive mindset.
  • Commitment to collaboration and continuous professional development.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills to coordinate resources and advance opportunities.
