Business Development Manager

Pharma Search Partners is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of our organization through the execution of our overall sales and marketing plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and target accounts to meet our projected sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and help achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and commercial results.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to capture new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Manage assigned accounts across North America and report on sales activities.
  • Travel and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Requirements:
  • Prospecting and identifying new business accounts and opportunities.
  • Establishing and managing client relationships and meeting pre-defined monthly sales goals.
  • Obtaining required FAQs to understand new and existing client study needs.
  • Preparing formal quotes and proposals as instructed, leading negotiations, and overcoming objections to deal closure.
  • Preparing and executing Confidentiality agreements and assisting in establishing service agreements.
  • Delivering sales and company informative presentations.
  • Conducting on-site client visits, conferences, and calls to accomplish goals set by the business development unit.
  • Managing timely execution of sales activities and reporting on sales activities.
  • Maintaining open communication with management, team members, and lab personnel to smoothly coordinate quotation execution and deal closures.
  • Assisting and participating in marketing initiatives and business plans for new service promotion and gathering information for market intelligence.
  • Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material.
  • Understanding GLP requirements and following company policy and project management procedures.
  • Assisting with invoice approval, PO attainment, and invoice collection.
  • Assuming other activities and responsibilities as assigned.
