Search Max, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Search Engine Marketing Account Manager to spearhead our efforts in search engine marketing (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads) as part of our expanding integrated marketing team.

Your role will involve strategizing, designing, and overseeing paid search initiatives that align with our comprehensive media marketing approach across significant client portfolios.

We are in search of a data-driven individual with a strong enthusiasm for digital marketing.

The perfect candidate will possess a demonstrated history of managing search campaigns across various platforms and achieving KPIs that foster business advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Launch & Management: Develop and enhance keywords and ad copy, ensure quality assurance for bidding tools and platforms, implement negative keyword strategies, and conduct landing page evaluations.
  • Campaign Optimization: Utilize data analytics to derive insights that inform creative and audience targeting adjustments to optimize client KPIs. Execute bid optimization strategies to enhance performance against client objectives.
  • Budget Management: Create strategic budget allocation frameworks and provide recommendations to maximize marketing expenditures based on client-specific targets.
  • Testing: Design, execute, and monitor tests to validate the adoption of new features, bidding strategies, landing pages, and advertisements, collaborating closely with analytics teams for incrementality assessment.
  • Reporting: Conduct thorough ad hoc and regular analyses related to account and category performance, historical trend evaluations, and competitive insights.
  • Talent Development: Guide team strategists supporting your accounts, provide strategic direction, communicate task execution and timeline expectations, and offer constructive feedback to facilitate their professional growth in their core areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in search and/or integrated digital marketing with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience managing annual budgets exceeding $1M.
  • Commitment to meeting and surpassing client expectations.
  • High proficiency in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and bid management platforms (SA360, Marin, or Kenshoo).
  • Comfortable utilizing analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of efficiency and precision under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Experience in training, managing, or mentoring junior digital marketers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with e-commerce and retail advertising is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cross-channel integrated media teams.
  • Understanding of statistical measurement methodologies.
