Job Summary

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service to our patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring quality patient scheduling and positive telephone etiquette
  • Providing general information to patients and their families using AIDET
  • Serving as the front-line contact person for incoming patients
  • Registering, scheduling, and collecting point-of-service copays

This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to take independent action, and a commitment to projecting Cooper's values to both customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

As a patient's non-clinical navigator, you will:

  • Greet and register patients
  • Schedule appointments and collect copays
  • Provide general information and support to patients and their families
  • Ensure quality patient scheduling and positive telephone etiquette
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Some knowledge of medical insurance
  • Experience in a medical environment (strongly preferred)

A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required for this position.
