Job SummaryThis role requires a strong focus on customer service, ensuring quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette, and customer satisfaction in support of Cooper University Hospital's mission.
As the front-line contact person, you'll greet, register, schedule, collect point-of-service copays, and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
- Ensure quality patient scheduling and registration
- Collect point-of-service copays and provide general information
- Serve as the patient's non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination
- Work independently and take initiative to project Cooper's values
- Computer literacy and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of medical insurances and IDX systems
- Experience in a medical environment preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
