Position Responsibilities

The HVAC Technical Support Expert will assist customers and sales personnel with technical HVAC inquiries and manage HVAC product warranties. This role requires a solid understanding of HVAC unit operations and familiarity with various manufacturers and their models. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, sourcing parts, processing special order quotes, and coordinating with warehouse staff and account managers to ensure efficient handling of warranties, orders, and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills to interact with applicants, vendors, managers, and colleagues.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a building trade such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or painting, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with tools, materials, and methods used in building trades.
  • Understanding of maintenance practices for commercial properties.

  • Manage HVAC warranty processes and ensure timely shipment of replacement products.
  • Compile and distribute reports on vendor activities to optimize product delivery.
  • Deliver quotes to customers within a 24-48 hour timeframe.
  • Efficiently manage email correspondence.
  • Engage in training sessions and product knowledge opportunities.
  • Track returns and orders to ensure fulfillment.
  • Maintain active engagement during business hours.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic computer skills are essential.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
