Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business and manage client relationships within Mechanical Contractors and Engineers for MEP / HVAC projects, utilizing both warm leads and some cold lead generation.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents on MEP projects.
  • Establish project parameters and create designs that align with these specifications. Responsibilities include using software to prepare proposals or bids that meet all technical requirements while minimizing cost overruns.
  • Provide project estimates for HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals from existing clients while also generating new business opportunities.
  • Possess a solid understanding of MEP / HVAC equipment, including Boilers and Chillers, system design, and BAS Equipment.
  • Oversee the execution of your team's projects, ensuring all equipment is managed effectively from shipment to project completion.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of energy-saving strategies for HVAC and lighting systems to clients.
  • Build relationships with various decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Identify and target opportunities based on in-depth customer insights.
  • Manage budget quotes and service agreements to support sales objectives.
  • Determine pricing solutions and sales strategies, ensuring compliance with Vendor Partners and company standards.
  • Work closely with both MSRs and PSRs, acting as an internal advocate for Client Services and a subject matter expert.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on account activities and annual forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP / HVAC Sales, with a proven track record in the commercial HVAC sector, capable of presenting value propositions to key decision-makers.
  • A portfolio of business with HVAC / MEP clients.
  • Knowledge of Chillers, Boilers, RTUs, Air Handlers, BAS, Controls, and Electrical systems, along with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in B2B Sales, with a strong understanding of systems, equipment, and the ability to assess buildings.
  • Excellent attitude, technical knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving energy service environment.
  • Professional demeanor, respectful and tactful in interactions with clients and team members.
  • Strong commitment to follow-through and effective time management skills.
  • Self-sufficient in managing time and developing tools for ongoing efficiency and productivity.
