We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Special Technical Operations (STO) Subject Matter Expert focused on Military Activities.
Position Summary: The selected candidate will support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in Tampa, Florida, by integrating and synchronizing Department of Defense (DoD) military activities with United States Government (USG) strategies. This role involves developing strategic inputs, campaign plans, and operational concepts that align with broader objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on Sensitive Activities, Special Access Programs (SAP), and Special Technical Operations (STO), fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
- Lead the integration of joint SAPs and STO into USCENTCOM planning efforts, coordinating with various military and governmental entities.
- Oversee the Review and Approval Process (RAP) for STO and SAP Concepts of Operation (CONOPs).
- Offer technical insights on the Joint Operational Planning Process and related methodologies.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the handling of sensitive materials and operations.
- Participate in collaborative planning efforts, including Mission Analysis and Course of Action (COA) Development.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in planning and assessing STO requirements within comprehensive Information Operations.
- Proven ability to develop and integrate STO requirements into strategic plans.
- Completion of the Special Technical Operations Planner's course is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of direct experience in STO at a Joint or Geographical Combatant Command Headquarters.
- Strong understanding of military planning techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- TS/SCI eligibility is necessary.
