Position Summary

As a Branch Sales Associate, you will represent our branch, delivering outstanding customer service and expert product knowledge to HVAC/R professionals and contractors. Your passion for the industry, combined with your excellent communication skills, will be crucial in providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Welcome customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them in selecting the appropriate HVAC/R products and supplies. Offer knowledgeable advice and recommendations.
  • Order Management: Process customer orders accurately, ensuring all items are available, correctly priced, and invoiced. Handle various payment methods with care.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications and pricing. Stay informed about industry trends and new product offerings.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and replenish as necessary. Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  • Technical Assistance: Help customers troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Documentation: Complete all required paperwork for customer transactions, including invoices and warranty claims.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the HVAC/R industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC/R products and equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including active listening and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in computerized sales and inventory management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
