Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated START Program Resource Coordinator to join our team at RHA Health Services. This role is essential in providing support and coordination for our respite services within the START Program (Systematic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resource, and Treatment).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary coordinator for respite services, ensuring effective community-based interventions and preventive measures for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
  • Facilitate integrated care and treatment through collaboration with all team members, enhancing the quality of services provided.
  • Manage various service components including collaborative contacts, emergency team meetings, and both planned and emergency respite.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (not in Human Services) with a minimum of 4 years of full-time experience with the target population, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field with at least 2 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree or higher with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong supervisory skills and direct support experience with individuals diagnosed with mental health and developmental disabilities.
  • Experience in crisis management and counseling.

  • Detail-oriented with outstanding written communication skills for developing and sharing person-centered plans.
