Job Description

Job Summary:

Children's Hope Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive In-Home Therapist Lead to join our Clinical Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and oversight to our Intensive In-Home Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical:
    • Coordinate the delivery of time-limited individual and intensive family treatment services to stabilize the home environment, promote reunification, or prevent out-of-home placement.
    • Complete required documentation to enroll and retain clients in Intensive In-Home Services, including gathering previous treatment histories, developing Person-Centered Plans, and making necessary referrals.
    • Ensure agency standardized instrument panels are completed on all clients admitted into the program.
    • Participate in treatment or oversee the following in relation to treatment:
    • Defuse the current crisis, evaluate its nature, and intervene to reduce the likelihood of a recurrence.
    • Ensure linkage to needed community services and resources.
    • Provide self-help, social, and basic living skills training for youth.
    • Provide parenting skills training to help families build skills for coping with their child's disorder.
    • Monitor and manage presenting psychiatric and/or addiction symptoms.
    • Work with caregivers to implement home-based behavioral supports, including crisis management, intensive case management, individual and/or family therapy, skills training, and other rehabilitative supports.
    • Provide individual and family therapy at a frequency consistent with client needs.
    • Work with natural and community supports, including schools, doctors, daycare, DSS, DJJ, faith communities, housing, and food pantries.
    • Employ agency-approved evidenced-based practices for the delivery of services.
  • Administrative:
    • Provide administrative oversight to the program, including managing program utilization, CQI, client outcomes, and client marketing.
    • Provide quality aftercare to clients after discharge.
    • Ensure program operations are within budget and spending policy, and promote strategies to exceed budgeted production.
    • Recruit, hire, and train new staff in conjunction with the Director of Community Based Services.
    • Provide administrative supervision to the Intensive In-Home team members through weekly team meetings and monthly individual supervision.
    • Be available for crisis intervention and/or supervision 24 hours a day.
    • Maintain licensure and actively participate in individual supervision for licensure, and keep personal records of supervision and report to the state Licensing board.
  • Supervision:
    • Provide clinical and administrative oversight to the IIH team members.
    • Supervision responsibilities include:
    • Intensive In-Home Team Members:
      • Demonstrate analytical skills by reviewing, interpreting, and including client assessments in case conceptualization of treatment plans.
      • Include internal and external CCA's, PCPs, Medical Evaluations, and Psychological Testing in client assessments.
    • Core Competency: Supervisors:
      • Complete 100% of direct report evaluations on time and have no old evaluations outstanding to meet expectations.
      • Supervisors who supervise second-level reports must also complete 85% of indirect reports on time to meet expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Master's Degree and 1 year experience in a human service field and North Carolina licensure or provisional licensure in one of the following disciplines: LCMHC(A), LCSW(A), LMFT(A); Plus a minimum of 1 year experience working with the same or similar client population required.
  • Requires knowledge and the ability to practically implement mental health regulations and clinical services.
  • Requires effective communication, decision-making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and professionalism skills and abilities.
  • Must have basic computer and math skills.
  • Must have a valid North Carolina's Driver's License.
  • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal, HCPR, and driving checks.
