Senior Executive Assistant, Advertising Solutions

Overview:
Amazon Ads is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Vice President of Measurement, AdTech, and Data Science (MADS).
Key Responsibilities:
This role demands outstanding organizational skills, effective time management, and a strong commitment to maintaining order. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
The Senior Executive Assistant will serve as a vital extension of the VP, leading the MADS EA team and collaborating closely with Finance, HR, and Recruiting departments.
Essential Qualities:
A sense of humor, poise, and the ability to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere are crucial. Critical thinking, adaptability, and a readiness to pivot as priorities change are also essential.
Maintaining a high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information, along with professionalism in interactions with senior executives both within and outside the organization, is imperative.

The successful candidate will be a tech-savvy individual who comprehends business priorities, anticipates needs proactively, and implements improvements that enhance the capacity of the leadership team.
Completing intricate tasks swiftly with minimal guidance, responding with appropriate urgency to situations requiring quick action, and taking effective measures without having the complete picture are key to excelling in this role.
Daily Activities:
A typical day may involve managing a high volume of correspondence, coordinating with EAs across various teams to arrange complex meetings, and partnering closely with the leadership team on diverse projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience providing support to senior leadership, or 3+ years of experience within Amazon.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in coordinating domestic and/or international travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing people or leading a team of EAs.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Ability to quickly grasp organizational structure and team objectives.
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting and developing colleagues.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for customer experience and alignment with Amazon's vision.
- Project management experience and familiarity with the advertising industry.
- BA/BS Degree.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package, which may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
