Store Operations Supervisor

Position Overview:
Head Clerk
The Head Clerk plays a crucial role in overseeing store operations, ensuring that all departments function smoothly while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee promotional activities, seasonal changes, and ensure timely execution of display setups, schematics, signage, and store decorations.
- Monitor sales performance, conduct inventory assessments, analyze advertised sales, and manage product ordering.
- Efficiently stock merchandise to maintain an appealing product presentation and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Supervise checkers, service clerks, and other staff to guarantee effective customer service and maintain a safe, secure work environment.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment for both employees and customers.
- Process customer transactions accurately.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of products, pricing, store layout, safe work practices, and merchandising.
- Ability to learn and apply company policies and procedures, fostering a collaborative team environment.
A four-year college degree or equivalent experience through formal education or specialized training.
Experience: A minimum of six months in a Key Carrier role or nine months as a Perimeter Department Manager, or equivalent experience in grocery retail management.
Other Requirements: Availability to work various retail hours.
Physical Requirements: Capable of performing tasks in a basic store and office environment, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling, and lifting objects.
