We are seeking a skilled Disaster Response Project Coordinator to join our team at All Hands and Hearts Smart Response, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

About the Role

\

The Disaster Response Project Coordinator will be responsible for developing and overseeing projects in response to and recovery from disasters, as well as managing a field team. The successful candidate will have experience in project management, people management, and construction (interior rebuild). A valid driver's license and good written and oral communication skills are also required.

Responsibilities

  • \
  • Develop project scopes-of-work, work queue, and timeline/budget, and track these accurately.\
  • Provide supportive leadership to the program and field team, manage a diverse staff team, volunteers, and team leaders.\
  • Maintain oversight and management of ongoing response work queue.\
  • Develop and evaluate project scope, quality, and impact through a meaningful monitoring and evaluation framework.\
  • Oversee implementing the project while adhering to the approved timeline and budget constraints.\
  • Establish and develop clear work and safety practices for the project.\
  • Support the Program Director in the development, implementation, and review of Health, Safety and Security procedures.\
  • Compile weekly and fortnightly progress reports.\
  • Track and monitor field expenses.\
  • Perform other duties as required.\

Requirements

  • \
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.\
  • 1+ years of experience in project management and people management.\
  • Technical experience in construction (interior rebuild) is required.\
  • Valid driver's license required.\
  • Good written and oral communication skills.\
  • Confident working with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.\
  • Able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.\
