Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in disaster response operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care expertise for patients demonstrating signs of imminent clinical deterioration.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians or healthcare providers.
  • Educate patients on managing health conditions, medications, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
  • Monitor and ensure patient safety.
  • Oversee medical triage, treatment, and evaluations.
  • Adhere to Quality Assurance and Quality Control guidelines.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum five years of experience providing critical care, preferably within a disaster rapid response environment.
  • Travel Nurses with FEMA or HHS experience preferred.
  • Bilingual communication skills not required but preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of disaster services and community resources.
Benefits

Competitive estimated starting salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year. Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits.
