We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Technology Strategist to join our team at Wolfe, Inc. in North Carolina.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner in our organization, working directly with executive leadership to align IT strategy with our company's strategic goals. As a hybrid position, this role can be based in Asheville, NC or Concord, NC depending on the location of the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Manage IT staff, including coordinating yearly reviews.
  • Maintain and review IT infrastructure, service contracts, and negotiations.
  • Maintain and review IT protocols and standards.
  • Maintain IT policies and procedures.
  • Manage internship programs with local community colleges.
  • Function as the lab information system administrator.
  • Maintain local VMware servers and redundant systems.
  • Perform necessary training requirements for staff.
  • Perform software demonstrations using Zoom Webinars.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and security.
  • Manage cloud software releases.
  • Project manage integrations with LIS, EMR, EHR, ATS/HRIS, custom software spec and design, software development life cycle – SDLC, in-house developed software, in-house third-party software, servers, PC Workstations, network, and disaster recovery systems and processes.
  • Manage third-party cyber defense staff.
  • Run checks and pen tests on internal and external software.
  • Maintain website certificates and domains.
  • Provide light programming development when needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE, VMware or similar.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or commensurate experience.
