Project Overview

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is a dynamic consulting firm offering a range of engineering, architecture, and IT services to public and private clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and manpower requirements, preparing invoices as needed.
  • Develop project management plans for assigned projects.
  • Establish project pricing and budgets.
  • Create and maintain project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific quality plans.
  • Coordinate project scope and manage subconsultants.
  • Participate in client presentations and oversee assigned staff working on projects.
  • Manage technical resources on the project team.
  • Develop extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Skilled with Bentley MicroStation and associated design software.
  • Familiar with Open Roads Designer Software.
  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • Professional Engineer License.
  • 10+ years of experience in developing roadway/highway plans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Experience working with local clients at the county and state level.
  • Project management and business development experience.
  • Experience with multiple project delivery methods.

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment, with occasional field work required.
