POSITION: ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

REPORTS TO: STORE MANAGER

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The primary objective of our organization is to cultivate a distinctive customer journey while developing future leaders equipped with confidence, expertise, and a stylistic approach. The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing business objectives by delivering an outstanding customer experience and fostering enduring client relationships. This position is centered on the sales floor, dedicated to establishing an atmosphere where feedback is encouraged and customer satisfaction remains paramount. The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to ensure seamless store operations, enhancing both profitability and efficiency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve personal and store sales targets by ensuring exceptional customer service for every client
  • Build a loyal client base through the development and maintenance of long-term relationships
  • Engage proactively with clients to strengthen connections through various communication methods
  • Leverage company sales culture and training resources to surpass key performance indicators
  • Maintain a receptive attitude towards coaching and feedback for continuous personal growth
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in each collection to enhance stylist capabilities
  • Exhibit a strong presence on the sales floor to lead by example and mentor staff in client relationship building
  • Provide ongoing feedback and recognition to inspire and uplift the sales team
  • Ensure organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of both customer-facing and back-of-house areas
  • Participate in all assigned responsibilities to support overall business objectives and develop as a versatile leader
  • Oversee payroll integrity and processes
  • Ensure the sales floor is well-maintained and visually represents the brand effectively
  • Assist and guide staff in cultivating robust client relationships during active sales floor presence
  • In the absence of the Store Manager, oversee all store operations and uphold key performance expectations
  • Collaborate with the team to execute opening and closing procedures, manage shipments, and maintain store standards
  • Actively support initiatives focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Willingness to wear a face mask throughout the shift for health and safety
  • Prior management and sales experience required
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 pounds as necessary
  • Capability to stand and walk continuously; accessible to customers throughout the store
  • Occasional ladder climbing as required
  • Proficient in using telephone, POS, and computer systems on a daily basis
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • Hourly wage of $28.00-$31.00 plus uncapped commission
