Fotona is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Area Sales Manager to aggressively prospect and develop new Dental customers in our Northern Atlantic Territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish Strong Customer Relationships: Demonstrate professionalism and establish a strong sense of trust among Fotona's growing customer base.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Manage high-volume cold calls to dental practices, identify decision-makers, and evaluate buying processes.
  • Needs Assessment and Solution Identification: Determine prospects' business needs and goals to identify solutions.
  • Product Demonstrations: Perform basic product demonstrations at regional events and tradeshows.
  • Networking and Collaboration: Build strong networks within the organization, the defined territory, and the dental industry.
  • Lead and Activity Management: Collect, record, and diligently track all prospects, leads, and activities using CRM.
  • Warm Marketing List Management: Manage warm marketing lists to uncover qualified sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Study frequently to remain knowledgeable on products and services offered by Fotona, LLC.
  • Communication and Organization: Demonstrate consistently strong communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Professional Representation: Represent Fotona with integrity and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in outbound business-to-business sales experience preferred.
  • Dental and Capital Equipment Experience: Dental, Capital Equipment, and/or Durable Medical Equipment experience preferred.
  • Sales and Marketing Skills: Ability to develop qualified appointments and apply sales and marketing strategies and principles.
  • Communication and Computer Skills: Excellent phone, email, and in-person sales and communication skills, basic Office Suite and computer/internet skills for efficient documentation, communication, and research.
  • CRM Experience: Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus.
  • Work Ethic and Independence: Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to work independently to produce results.
Additional Requirements:
  • Travel and Mobility: Ability to drive within the territory daily, ability to travel overnight (30% on average) within and outside the territory for attendance at national trade shows, trainings, and other events.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to push/pull very heavy equipment on wheels/casters occasionally.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
Compensation:
  • Salary and Commissions: Competitive salary based on experience and track record, plus uncapped commissions.
