About the Role...

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a vital role in identifying and attracting the exceptional individuals who contribute to the success of Power Design. This position is integral to our team, focusing on sourcing and securing top-tier talent for various roles within the organization. By collaborating closely with hiring managers and executives, the specialist will effectively identify, interview, and evaluate high-quality candidates.

  • Understand the organization's recruitment needs to identify suitable candidates and make informed hiring recommendations.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with hiring managers, executives, and current employees, while ensuring outstanding service to potential candidates.
  • Recruit individuals who align with the company's core values and meet or exceed job specifications.
  • Create and manage optimized job descriptions and maintain a comprehensive job library within the applicant tracking system.
  • Engage in departmental initiatives and process enhancement projects to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

  • A bachelor's degree along with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in recruitment or staffing is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrate a commitment to quality outcomes, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the capability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and management, exercising discretion as necessary.
  • Strong organizational abilities to prioritize and meet stringent deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with applicant tracking systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
