Job Summary

Arizona State University is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving corporate sponsorship sales of multimedia products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, lead generation, and industry events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored multimedia solutions.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends and our product offerings to provide clients with the best solutions.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the marketing, traffic, and creative teams to ensure client campaigns are executed smoothly and meet expectations.
• Track sales activities in Salesforce and prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts for leadership.
• Meet and/or exceed quarterly and annual budgets across broadcast, digital, print, and event sponsorships.

Requirements

• Associates degree in a related field and two years of marketing, media sales, and/or related sales activities; or four years of experience in marketing, media sales, and/or related sales activities; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Established relationships with corporate partners and advertising agencies.
• Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative Nielsen ratings as well as digital campaign reporting.
• Evidence of effective communication.
• Experience in utilizing a CRM to document sales activity and sales proposals.
• Evidence of creativity and copywriting skills to assist clients with marketing strategy.
• Demonstrating knowledge of FCC regulations for a public media station.
• Demonstrating knowledge of the value proposition of public media compared to commercial media.
