We are seeking full-time Medical Assistants.

Position Overview:

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clinical functions that facilitate the efficient operation of healthcare facilities. Your role will be essential in ensuring that patients feel at ease during their visits and in clarifying instructions provided by healthcare professionals. You will receive training to perform both administrative and clinical tasks, delivering care under the guidance of qualified staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, PAs, and APRNs.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Perform tasks efficiently to boost clinic productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
  • Follow directives from healthcare providers and management.
  • Ensure precise medication history during patient assessments.
  • Support medical evaluations, documentation, and client care.
  • Maintain patient records and information securely.
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries and phone calls.
  • Manage medication orders and refill requests efficiently.
  • Educate patients regarding prescriptions and medication information.
  • Provide guidance on after-hours support for patient inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical support roles.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Medical Assisting certification is preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.
  • Positive interpersonal skills suitable for diverse environments.
  • Fundamental knowledge of medical terminology.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records.
  • Understanding of CPT & ICD-10 Coding.
  • Familiarity with medication procedures.
